These are rough times. When it seems like everything is fueled by hate and anger, it is important to remember the light and love that exists in our lives. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr said "Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness." While taking some time away from the bustle of New York, I was able to visit these great murals in Pittsburgh - and just as we stepped out the car to take pictures, the subtle breeze and gorgeous sunlight began. The perfect reminder of everything that is right in each new day.

"It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don't use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that's how freedom grows...Love others as you love yourself. That's an act of true freedom." Galatians 5:13-15 MSG
